Theme of Life

Yesterday, while being pissed off that my bosses came in at 5:15 pm to ask me to TYPE a letter for them, and made me stay and do it even though I said I had an appointment at 6 pm, I realized that I have a "Life Theme Song". To those Ally McBeal fans out there (and to the rest of you who should totally watch it on DVD), this concept is very similar to Ally's song, a song her therapist tells her to pick to play in her head and make her feel better. Side note, unfortunately YouTube hates me and has no clip to showcase just how incredibly awesome it is when Ally first picks her theme song ("Tell him") and begins to dance to it at a crosswalk and then all of the sudden all of the other people waiting at the corner with her also start to shake and move to the beat and end up dancing across the street. However, I did find this hilarious dancing clip and the dancing baby, of course, just to show you the general idea of how randomly hilarious this show was (aka right up my alley). Anyway, my theme song, (which is not the song my sister and I did a dance break to over Skype last night...since for that song we nodded our head like YEAH and moved our hips like YEAH)  has ever since Switzerland (well actually the ride to the South of France where the radio had the same random group of songs on repeat and the words were not censored) become FUCK YOU by Lilly Allen. While I have no clue if this is an official video for this song--I sort of think not-- it is a perfect representation of what I love about it, in a Postsecret sort of way. This song REALLY pumps/riles me up, especially when I am pissed off or angry about something, and makes me want to run harder, play harder, and just realize..."It's not me, it's them". These options are all much better than punching someone in the face or crying.

Do any of you have a theme song??
(BTW, I like comments and followers...so please comment...followers :) )

  3. I dunno if I 'd quite call it a theme song but lately playing drop the world by little wayne has perked me up from sad to angry and motivated lol...might be a dangerous combination, but I jsut mean that it makes me get up and do things rather than mope...and thats always good.

  5. Hi there new and old blog readers...Thanks for following (I will check out and follow yours stat) and commenting (I <3 knowing people actually read my ramblings).
I think the theme song probably does change, and it is hard to think about which one it is at any given time. Ms. B. perking up and being angry is exactly what the lilly allen song does to me. I think sometimes I am more productive pissed off haha.
