Let's Give Em Something to Talk About

What an Amazing Freudian Slip....or, what is honestly just a vocalization of what is permanently on everyone's mind about Tiger (Sometimes, I wish it was pronounced like the Winnie the Pooh Character). Too bad this girl is blonde, or else they wouldn't just blame her hair color for this mistake (c'mon disk...dick...it makes a lot of sense). Actually her slip is more likely due to the fact that she works for the GOLF channel and she just woke up (from the boring game) in time to whisper her few words of commentary. And, let's be honest, all golf commentary sounds sexual (ball, hole, shaft, "pulling out" of the tournament). Seriously, just watch Tina Fey in this AMAZING skit...and you will completely understand. In my opinion, this reporter deserves a high five, a tip of the hat, and a raise...all for just getting golf (and the only thing we care about in golf...Tiger Woods' sex life) BACK into the news (post Jesse James stealing the cheating thunder).

Oh, and "P.S. if Asians and Indians can compete with Black people...it's not a sport."

  1. That happened on Sports Center once too (not that I watch sports center, but it was an inspiration for a scene in this show i used to love Sports Night).

In Reel Life: There's a critical error in the script. The "s" in "bulging disk" is missing. This could have resulted in an embarrassing on-air mishap, but it's caught in time. ("Eli's Coming")
In Real Life: Pulled right from the "SportsCenter" misplay book. During one broadcast, a TelePrompTer typo dropped the "s" in "disk." As a result, anchor Steve Levy did say, on the air, that a player was out of action with a "bulging dik." Olbermann, co-anchoring, "was crying he was laughing so hard," Rich Eisen told the L.A. Times.
