Under the Knife

Tomorrow I FINALLY (after 5 years of postponing it) have surgery on my left shoulder (thank you competitive swimming since I was 6). Chances are that unless I blog on Vicodin and do not mean to (which I will not--and can not-- rule out), this will be my last post for at least a week.

Hopefully, post-surgery I will be like either one of these two fantastic specimens of human beings:

 **Though it is quite depressing that parents' film their kids this messed up and then put it online (ALTHOUGH this video is definitely not as ridiculous as the Sparkling Wiggles' parents who made their kid look like a racist), I am definitely a fan of "Is this Real Life??" and "Why is this happening to me?!". I can only hope that there will be a point in my car ride home that I randomly scream bloody murder. I am sure my parents will LOVE that.

** I also really hope that I feel like "a unicorn just took me on a ride to the magical palace...to the land of the blueberrys". I have always wanted to hang out with mythical creatures (and blueberrys)....and this is my chance. Oh, and I can bet money on the fact that I will break into song (at some point while in a vicodin-dream) like she does with her rendition of the Christian cheer "Whose in the HOUSE......The only question is....WHICH song?

I give my parents permission to record or at least write down anything I say that is beyond insane. I consider this a learning experience, and am in need of some laughs at my own expense :) Wish me luck!!
