Your Life Is...Also Random.

Hi Blog Readers,

Last night I received a phone call from someone with probably the most random, funny story I have heard in a long time. This person was flying Southwest airlines and a woman walked on and sat in his row. She was carrying a teddy bear and was visibly upset. Being the nice person that he is, he asked this woman if she was OK, and hilarity ensued. She said that she was upset because she had flown to Nashville to audition for a better "dance club" (aka strip joint) and she did not make it. While pondering the existence of "better strip clubs", and how hard it is to "move up" in the stripper world, this person had to remove himself from the conversation before he laughed, or passed judgement (Sound familiar?). However, he just could not get away from it as all throughout the flight (even before the use of portable electronic devices was approved), this woman looked at pictures of herself on her phone. Then, when the stewardess asked her to turn off her phone (which she did multiple times), the woman would roll her eyes, laugh, and say "FAT people HATE me". AMAZING. After hearing this story, I think I finally understand the expression rolling on the floor laughing. Add this story to the highlight reel of the airline that is known for kicking people off the plane for being fat, and for being scantily clad. Too bad they can't eject you for your profession.

After hearing this story, I realized that EVERYONE's life is random, at least at points, even if mine seems to be all the time. So, I decided to make my blog more interactive and hopefully more fun to read. I created an e-mail address (mlirandomblog@gmail.com) for you to send me your funny stories and hilarious pictures. Seriously, anytime you laugh at your life or see something that makes you laugh ...e-mail me. DO IT (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ra70O9nps6E). I will then anonymously post your stories/pictures (a la Texts from Last Night or FML) and that way other people can laugh with you and share your crazy experiences. Laughter, after all, is the shortest distance between two people.

I look forward to getting your e-mails!!!

- ME :)
